Doohickamajig provides browser-based tools, games, calculators, and utilities for general informational and practical use. The tools are provided as available and may change, be corrected, or be removed.

You remain responsible for content you enter into a tool or submit through the contact form. Saved tool data is generally kept in your browser, so keep a separate copy of anything important. We are not responsible for browser-local data lost through clearing browser storage, changing devices, private browsing, or a browser malfunction.

The Doohickamajig site, its design, code, branding, and original content are owned by Luke J. Jones or used with permission. You may not copy, sell, redistribute, or create a competing service from substantial portions of the site without prior written permission, except where applicable law allows it.

6. Third-party services and links

Parts of the service rely on third-party providers, including Cloudflare Turnstile for contact-form abuse prevention, Resend for contact-message delivery, and Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for site analytics and performance insights. Google advertising may be added as described in the Privacy Policy. Their services and privacy practices are governed by their own terms and policies.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doohickamajig is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Luke J. Jones does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose, or that every tool result will be accurate for your circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luke J. Jones will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Doohickamajig.

8. Changes and termination

We may change these Terms or suspend or end access to the site at any time. If we make a material change to these Terms, we will post the revised version here and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kern County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
